Miracles for Moms Campaign Update
Dear ACE Family, with just two weeks left to give we want to share an important update on Margret and her triplets, one of hundreds of families in Zambia that your gifts will help.
Margret, her husband John, and their seven children have been able to sustain themselves off of emergency food relief that your gifts have helped support. Sadly Margret’s husband, like many, lost his job due to the Covid-19 pandemic. His job insecurity is worsened by limited opportunities due to the economic crisis in Zambia, even including part-time ‘piece work.’ As a result, Margret and John’s family might be evicted from their home soon.
As John continues to search for work, your help is needed now more than ever to ensure Margret and John’s children are protected, along with hundreds of families like theirs in Zambia.
Your gift of $1.10 per day ensures reliable access to food for Margret and John’s family in the midst of a crisis, and empowers Margret with job skills so she can earn and save money for their household.
If you have not done so already, please consider donating to our fight against hunger and separation for moms and babies in Zambia. With your support, we can provide emergency food relief for families like Margret’s, and also provide job skills training to ensure moms and babies in Zambia survive and thrive.
So far we have raised $11,472 of our $20,000 goal.
By midnight on May 31st, I want your help to raise the remaining $8,528 for the Miracles for Moms campaign. Together we can protect family relationships, and provide essential nutrition that babies need to survive and grow.
Thank you in advance for your generosity in responding to this urgent need for Margret and her triplets, as well as hundreds of other families we serve in Lusaka.
