Meet Amos.

This Christmas, babies like Amos have lost the protection of family.

Amos was born to a mother who struggled with serious untreated mental health issues, and was not able to care for her new baby.

At just two weeks old, Amos was brought to the front door of the House of Moses. He urgently needed milk, warm clothes, and a safe place to sleep.

The House of Moses is known throughout Lusaka as a safe haven for babies like Amos. When a baby is orphaned or abandoned, the House of Moses becomes a temporary shelter that provides safety and nurturing care. As part of God’s family, the ACE Family steps in to make sure babies are physically and emotionally protected until we can restore them to families through reintegration, fostering, and adoption.

In Amos’ case, we are prayerful that he can be reintegrated with his biological family someday. Our team is reaching out to his mother’s extended family to see if they can give him a secure and loving home. Join us in prayer for Amos and all babies living in our crisis nurseries.

By December 31, your gift of $6.85 gives a night of safe shelter to babies like Amos. Your gift also sets them on a path toward family through reintegration, fostering, and adoption. This year, your gift will be doubled to protect the lives of babies like Amos.

Thank you for showing children in our crisis nurseries that they are seen, loved, and always belong in God’s family!
